What is Reiki?

Reiki is a healing practice that channels energy through the practitioner in order to promote healing and balance in the recipient. It is based on the ancient system of energy healing of Tibetan Buddhism, and was developed by a Japanese monk, Dr. Mikao Usui in the late 19th century. Reiki works on the body's energy fields, known as the chakras, to promote healing and balance.

Reiki can be used to heal physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual ailments. It is non-invasive, gentle, and non-intrusive, and does not involve any form of physical manipulation. Reiki can be used to treat acute and chronic conditions, as well as aiding in relaxation and stress relief.

The practice of Reiki involves the practitioner laying their hands on or above the recipient’s body, and allowing the energy to flow through them. As the practitioner channels the energy, they are able to sense any blockages or imbalances in the energy field. The practitioner then uses their hands to redistribute the energy and help the body to restore balance and harmony.

The practice of Reiki can be used in a variety of ways, from physical healing to spiritual growth. It can be used to help clear emotional and mental blocks, as well as cleansing and balancing the chakras. Reiki can be used to help improve relationships, promote relaxation, and reduce stress. It can also be used to enhance creativity and self-awareness, as well as to increase self-confidence.

Reiki is a safe and natural way to heal and promote balance and harmony within the body. It is not intended to be a substitute for medical or psychological treatment, but rather a complementary therapy. It is important to remember that Reiki is not a cure-all and can only be used to help the body heal itself. Reiki should never be used as a substitute for professional medical or psychological advice.

Reiki can be used by anyone, regardless of their level of experience or belief system. It is important to remember that the practice of Reiki is a personal journey, and everyone’s experience will be different. It is also important to find a qualified practitioner in order to ensure safe and effective treatment.
